Antenatal Care

Routine antenatal check-ups by a qualified midwife are carried out at the Rankin Unit, IRH.

Your can self-refer to the midwife service by visiting: www.nhsggc.scot/meetyourmidwife.

After completing a simple online form, you will receive your first appointment with a midwife via post

Childhood Immunisation

Community Childhood Immunisation Clinics are now operated from the Health Centre.   You will be contacted by letter from the Health Board with appointment date/time.

Please contact your Health Visitor if you require further information.

Time: As advised by Health Board Letter.

Asthma/COPD

Asthma/COPD clinics are run by Sister Irvine .

Time: Wednesday/Thursday

Hypertension/CHD Clinics

All patients suffering from hypertension or coronary heart disease are invited to attend for annual review.  This is carried out by the practice nurses.

Well-Woman Clinic

Please make an appointment with one of the Practice Nurses to have a smear test carried out.

Time: Various appointment times available

Wart Clinic

The GPs provide treatment at a pre-arranged routine appointment.

Diabetic Clinic

Patients suffering from diabetes should be seen by the Practice Nurse twice yearly.  A recall system is in operation.

Time: Friday morning

Community Link Worker (CLW)

CLWs provide support with accessing local services to improve your health and wellbeing.  This includes support to seek out services and accompanying people if required.

Please speak to a member of the Practice team who will ask the CLW to contact you. Our CLW is Ms Val Shepherd
